A group known as "Constructors for Christ" are in west Tennessee offering free labor for an area church. Constructors for Christ, made up of crews from two states are in Pinson. They are helping to build a new facility for Grace Baptist Church.

Since 1976, the group has built one building a year for churches across the country. Over the weeks of construction, leaders said more than 300 workers will help with the project.

The pastor at Grace Baptist Church said he sees this opportunity to be helped as a blessing.

"We have a lot of opportunity to minister to a lot of people in our community but to be ministered to, to receive it to be on the receiving end it has been a blessing," said Eric Martin, pastor of Grace Baptist Church.

The Constructors for Christ plan to be in Pinson for another month.
The building is expected to open September 1.
