 Gente Magazine continues its community involvement by helping our students continue their education. Gente Magazine is planning its First Annual Scholarship Fundraiser scheduled for November 4, 2006. The theme is "SABOR A MEXICO", a taste of Mexico. Booths will include vendors with a Mexican venue, emphasizing ethnic Mexican cuisine from the various Mexican states.
 Most of you recognize that cuisine varies in Mexico from state to state. "SABOR A MEXICO" will bring together produces, distributors, restaurants, and consumers under one roof. What an excellent networking opportunity. Other vendors who sell Mexican products or those that cater to the Hispanic consumer are welcomed. We are planning an auction, and entertainment for the whole family. Funds will be used to assist community minded organizations that provide scholarships to encourage our youngsters to continue their education. We encourage these organizations to get involved and support Gente Magazine in this important endeavor. This project will take shape in the coming weeks
We are looking for:
Major Mexican food manufactures both US and Mexican firms.
- Mexican restaurants that feature cuisine from the various Mexican states.
- Other restaurants that feature a Mexican dish on their menu.
- Tex-Mex restaurants.
- Distributors and Manufactures seeking to expand their markets.
These vendors will offer their cuisines for sampling by the trade show’s attendees.
We are also looking for:
- Vendors of other Mexican products who are seeking a US market.
- Manufacture, Distributors, and Vendors of Mexican beers and liquors.
- Vendors marketing travel to Mexico
- American vendors who export to Mexico
- Vendors who seek a share of the Hispanic market.
