Funeral Services for Joe Lee Buckner, 62, of Richwood, Texas, will be Saturday, August 14, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Freeport, 326 West Fourth St. in Freeport, Texas, with Bishop B. Hugh McGruder officiating. Burial will follow at Peach Creek Cemetery in Wharton, Texas.

Juneteenth Celebration - A celebration called Juneteenth marks the anniversary of freed black slaves in Texas.
