Kenneth Woolridge is Dedicated to Excellence Print E-mail
ImageKenneth Woolridge is dedicated to excellence, whether at work or in the community.  His commitment to professional excellence was recognized early on in his career when the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) named him Young Engineer of the Year in 2001, and in 2003, he was recognized nationally as one of 25 New Faces in Engineering.
A certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Kenneth has used his expertise to deliver customer-focused solutions throughout his career.
 
From 2002-2007, he worked in Polyolefins & Elastomers TS&D for Dow North America.  He then worked as project specialist with the Plastic Customer Service team leading multifunctional teams through the Measure - Analyze - Improve - Control (MAIC) process in support of customer service, sales and marketing.  Today, Kenneth is a member of the Plastic Commercial Excellence Team.  His projects include developing and further enhancing the Plastics North America Margin Calculator, Plastics North America Product Positioning Database, and other tools that empowers our sales organization with the right information to make business decisions. 

Outside of work, he is a deacon and leads the Family Matters Ministry at Lake Jackson Church of Christ, where he has created and delivered several presentations pertaining to the family.  Kenneth is married and has two daughters.   He and his wife mentor engaged and married couples.  He is a member of the United Way Board of Directors, United Way Finance Committee, United Way Education Committee, and Brazoria County Education Initiative Taskforce.  He is a former board member of the Community Foundation of Brazoria County where he was one of the youngest board members, and assisted in defining the criteria and selection process for identifying and recognizing young philanthropists.  Kenneth is also one of the founders of Dow Diamond Toastmasters, and an implementation leader with Dow’s African American Network in Freeport. 

He is a 1998 graduate of Texas A&M University, Kenneth recruits for Dow at his alma mater.
